The Xerox Life

Dave Beam

Xerox was the first leading brand of photocopier. The word “xerox: had become synonymous with making multiple photostatic copies.

Do you have a Xerox life?  Could you basically take last year, and photocopy it over and over, and that describes your life.  Over and over and over and over and over.  Year after year after year after year after year.  Day after day after day after day after day.  Same same same same same same same.

STOP! PULL THE PLUG! WAKE UP!

You have been lulled into a hypnotic trance of mediocre survival.  I realize that is where most people are, because average is defined by the majority.

But YOU can be an exception.  You can stop the Xerox machine, and you can rise up and create excellence.  Off the merry-go-round, and moving forward toward a new and exciting future?  A life with some sizzle.  Alive with a life that is real, not just existence.  Yes.  It can be you.

You might be afraid to stop and really take a close look at your situation.  You might feel regret and disappointment.  You typically close your eyes so you won’t see the failure.  The numbers on the bathroom scale.  The bank balance.  And those people you avoid because you just don’t want to deal with it.

STOP!  TURN IT OFF! SHUT IT DOWN!  IT CAN CHANGE!  YOU CAN CHANGE!  LET’S CREATE SOMETHING NEW AND JOYFUL AND EXCITING! TODAY, LET THE GAMES BEGIN!  THIS MESSAGE CAN BE THE START.

It’s all in your head anyway.  It’s not what is occurring that has you stuck, it is how you are allowing it to occur to you.  And you can change how it occurs to you by shifting your thinking and language and action.  Those scary things are just thoughts and stories in your head – myths to be challenged, debunked and rewritten.

I am a coach.  I help people like you rewrite the stories of their lives and their business by creating a new perspective so you can get the results you really want. You can change your story.  You CAN change.  Are you ready?
